Ingredients

1 2/3 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 1/2 cups chicken or turkey, cooked and cubed
1 cup white sauce
1/4 tsp. thyme, dried
1 cup biscuit mix*
1/2 cup milk
1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the vegetables, chicken, soup, and thyme until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 9-inch pie pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the biscuit mix, milk, and egg until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown.

*Shortcut Tip: For an even quicker and easier version, skip the biscuit mix and top the chicken mixture with canned biscuits or crescent rolls before baking!
