Ingredients

1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 cup onion, chopped
2 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 1/2 cups white sauce
1 1/2 cups potatoes, cooked, cubed
1 cup sour cream
10 oz. can buttermilk biscuits
1 cup peas, cooked

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. In a 10-inch ovenproof skillet, cook the sausage and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add the mushrooms.
  4. Over low heat, slowly add the white sauce, stirring constantly.
  5. Add the potatoes and heat until the mixture is bubbling.
  6. Stir in the sour cream.
  7. Arrange the 10 biscuits around the outer edge of the skillet, then spoon the peas into the center.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
