This easy Popeyes biscuit recipe copycat makes delicious buttery biscuits that taste just like the ones at Popeye’s chicken restaurants. With only 4 ingredients, you will be surprised how easy they are to make!

Ingredients

4 cups baking mix (Bisquick)
3/4 cup club soda
8 oz. sour cream
1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Melt butter in a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Place the dough on lightly floured surface and knead lightly.
  5. Pat or roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
  6. Cut into biscuits with a biscuit cutter or glass.
  7. Place in the baking pan.
  8. Turn over once, making sure they are well coated in butter.
  9. Bake at 400° for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. If you would like extra butter, you can drizzle a little melted extra butter on top.
