This was very good, will keep in my rotation. We buy grass fed, processed whole cows, so recipes like this are helpful for the less tender cuts. Thanks

I just love pepper steak (the way my mom made it) but every time I try to make it the steak turns out tough! Help?
Jill
Harriet in every steak recipe that I make like this I always sprinkle some meat tenderizer on the meat before I cook it. It always makes things really tender for me. As a side bonus if you get a bee sting you can make a paste of the meat tenderizer and it really stops the pain – truly works.

Brilliant! Never even occurred to me. You guys are lifesavers. I am going to try tht this week.
Jill
Yes Harriet I went for years without using meat tenderizer and when I started using it it made such a difference in my cooking.
