Eggnog Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

Units

1 cup sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup eggnog
2 overripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Crumb Topping:

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup flour
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Beat together the sugar, butter, egg and vanilla.
  3. Add eggnog and bananas.
  4. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
  5. Add to the wet ingredients.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Fill within 2 inches of the top.
  7. Using your hands, mix all of the crumb ingredients together.
  8. Crumble the mixture over the batter in the pan.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
