Hot Chili Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients

1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. vegetable oil
2 (15 oz.) cans chili without beans
2 cups salsa
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
2 (2.25 oz.) cans ripe olives, sliced and drained

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in the oil until tender.
  2. Place the sauteed onions and garlic and the rest of the ingredients in a slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through.  Stir occasionally.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips and garnish with grated cheddar if you want.
