This easy donut recipe from canned biscuits is one of our favorite homemade donut recipes because it’s so super easy to make! All of our kids have loved this recipe and we freqently made these donuts when they were younger!
Since they’re made from canned donuts, it’s easy to make them in 10 minutes, including the time to fry them. We usually make them with powdered sugar. Just put some powdered sugar in a paper bag, toss the donuts in while still warm and shake!
Powdered sugar was our kids’ favorite way to make this homemade donut recipe, but you can also make them with cinnamon and sugar, or using the homemade donut glaze recipe or chocolate glaze recipe below. If you want to get extra fancy, you could glaze or frost them and roll in sprinkles, coconut or nuts.

Jill
In step 3 you add 2 Tbsp. to the flour and mix – then if you read in step 6 you add the rest of the sugar with all the other ingredients listed there.
