This super tasty crunchy hamburger casserole recipe makes an easy meal that takes just a few minutes to prepare. It’s got a little different taste than a traditional hamburger casserole, so if you’re looking for something a bit different that’s really tasty, try this one!

Ingredients

2 cups egg noodles, cooked
1 pound ground beef. browned
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
3/4 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Colby, Monterey Jack, etc.)
3/4 cup green bell pepper, diced (optional)
salt and pepper (to taste)
1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Combine the noodles, ground beef, soup, tomatoes, cheese and green pepper.
  3. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  5. Cover and bake for 40 minutes.
  6. Uncover and sprinkle the onions on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
