This year I am putting in a fall garden. Since we are trying to sell our house, I didn’t put in a vegetable garden this year and I put all the plants I wanted to take with me into containers. I think when we move I’m going to have a truck load of just plants! This is just a few of them. :-)
It was over 100 degrees for more than 2 weeks and now it has finally cooled down and feels WONDERFUL!
I got inspired and decided to get my fall garden started. It’s supposed to be in the 100s again later this week so I hope they won’t all burn up but I’m going to give it a try!
Last night I planted:
radishes
lettuce
spinach
cilantro
I was going to grow some snow peas, but the season here stays hot too long, so I decided to wait on those and try them next year when we are (hopefully) in Colorado. If you love fresh salads, nows the time to get these seeds in the ground!
