Use this easy strawberry sauce recipe to make strawberry sauce for any recipe that calls for it. This strawberry sauce  makes a great topping for desserts. For an easy dessert, pour over a piece of angel food cake and top with whipped cream.

Ingredients

2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries in juice
2 tsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Drain strawberries and place the juice in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in cornstarch, blending well.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and cool.
  5. Stir in strawberries.
