Triple Fudge Cake Recipe
1 (3 oz.) package chocolate pudding (not instant)
2 cups milk
1 chocolate cake mix
1 heaping cup chocolate chips
Cook pudding according to the directions on the mix. Pour the dry cake mix into a bowl and, while pudding is still warm, pour it over the cake mix. Stir. It will be thick. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Caramel Fudge Cake Recipe
1 (16 oz. -regular size) chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels, unwrapped
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the box. Pour 2 cups of the batter into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
While the cake is baking, melt the caramels and butter together either in the microwave or in a sauce pan. Stir well. Add sweetened condensed milk to the caramel mixture. When 15 minutes has passed, remove the cake from the oven and spread the caramel mixture evenly over the cake. Spread the remaining cake batter over the caramel mix. Top with nuts.
Return the cake to the oven. Bake 25 minutes longer or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.
