Ingredients

1 lb. (4 cups) powdered sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. water
food coloring

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Beat on high with a hand mixer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add food coloring as desired.

Use to decorate wedding and birthday cakes. Frosts one 9×13 inch cake.
