Ingredients

Fish Taco Marinade

3 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. lime juice (juice of 1 lime)
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin

Tacos

1 1/2 lb. cod (or tilapia or other flaky white fish)
Tortillas, flour or corn
Toppings of your choice

Toppings

1/2 cabbage
2 medium avocados, sliced
2 Roma tomatoes, diced (optional)
1/2 diced red onion
1/2 bunch cilantro, longer stems removed
1 cup cheese, grated (optional)
1 lime, cut into 8 wedges, to serve

Fish Taco Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp lime juice, from 1 medium lime
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Sriracha sauce, or to taste
cilantro, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients together.
  2. Marinate fish for 15 minutes.
  3. Mix the fish taco sauce ingredients.
  4. In a frying pan, cook the fish in the marinade until flaky.
  5. Serve fish on warmed tortillas with toppings and sauce.

Notes

For Gluten free, use corn tortillas
