1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Before you start, cut about a 20 inch piece of wax paper. Lay it on the counter. This serves as something to drop the cookies on.
In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar, cocoa, and butter. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla, nuts. Mix until peanut butter is mixed in. Add oatmeal. Drop by spoonfuls on the wax paper.
This must be done a little quickly because the cookies start hardening pretty fast. If the humidity is high or you don’t boil them the right amount of time, they may not harden. Don’t panic! No Bake Peanut Butter Pie Recipe
- Yield: 1 pie
Ingredients
Crust*:
20 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
Filling:
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
Instructions
- Mix crust ingredients.
- Press into a 9×13 inch pan or deep dish pie plate.
- Beat cream cheese, peanut butter and powdered sugar.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Pour into crust and spread.
- Chill for at least 3 hours. You can freeze, but thaw before serving.
Notes
*You can use store bought crust if you prefer (but the homemade tastes better).
Variations:
- You can add less peanut butter if the flavor is overpowering.
- Use a graham cracker crust for a less rich dessert.
- Try making a pretzel crust for a sweet-and-salty twist.
- Add a Layer of Chocolate: For an extra decadent treat, consider adding a layer of melted chocolate over the crust before adding the peanut butter filling. Simply melt some chocolate chips and spread them over the crust, then refrigerate until set before adding the filling.
- Add chopped peanuts or walnuts to the filling.
- Spread more whipped cream over the top of the peanut butter filling.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings on top.
- If desired, add chopped peanuts, walnuts or peanut butter cups for extra garnish.
- Drizzle with chocolate ice cream topping.
- Leave out the peanut butter altogether and add a couple tablespoons of cocoa. Then serve with fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries or bananas.
- Add chocolate chips along with the peanut butter.
- Leave out the peanut butter and just use chocolate chips, sprinkles or crushed candies.
- Peanut Butter Banana Pie: Layer sliced bananas over the crust before adding the peanut butter filling. The bananas add a fresh, fruity contrast to the rich peanut butter.
- Nutella Swirl Peanut Butter Pie: Swirl in 1/2 cup of Nutella into the peanut butter filling for a delightful chocolate-hazelnut twist.
- Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Pie: Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the top of the pie before chilling. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt for an irresistible sweet-and-salty combination.

No Bake Cookie Dough Cookies Recipe
1 stick butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups flour
1 cup peanut butter
12 oz. chocolate chips, separated
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Add condensed milk and flour. Fold in chocolate chips, holding back 2/3 cup. Pour into an 8×8 pan lined with parchment paper.* The dough is sticky– after all, it is cookie dough.
Melt peanut butter and the 2/3 cup chocolate chips together in a pan or in the microwave and pour on top of the dough. Chill covered for 3 hours or overnight.
This makes a thick cookie. For a thinner one, you could use a larger pan.
*In our house, recipes like this don’t make it into a pan. Sometimes we chill it for a bit in the bowl and then everyone grabs a spoon and dives in.
Gluten Free, Sugar Free Peanut Butter Dough Cookies
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup plus 3 Tbsp. raisins

2 Tbsp. roasted, unsalted peanuts (If you can only find salted, reduce or omit added salt.)
1/8 tsp. vanilla
Throw everything into a food processor and combine until very smooth. Roll into balls, cookies, bars or just eat it by the spoonful.
Dough can be stored on the counter, in the fridge, or in the freezer.
No Bake Cookie Dough Bars
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups flour
12 oz. chocolate chips, divided*
1/2 cup peanut butter*, optional
Mix the first 5 ingredients well in the order listed. Fold in 6 oz. or half of the chocolate chips. Pour into a 9×13 pan. (Parchment paper on the bottom of the pan makes it easier to remove from pan.) Melt the peanut butter and the rest of the chocolate chips together and pour over the dough.* Chill for several hours until firm.
*You can adjust the chocolate chips in this recipe and add more to the dough or when you melt them with the peanut butter. Being frugal, I just add a little less than normal. Also, if you aren’t a fan of peanut butter or can’t eat it you can just top these cookie dough bars with melted chocolate chips.

I wanted to ask you all for prayer. I had tongue cancer surgery and finished my radiation treatments a month ago. I only can eat tube feedings but I have ALWAYS LOVED the recipes from my elderly DOAD and am looking forward to volume 2. Anyway I can’t wait to eat again your yummy recipes. Please pray I heal fast! Thanks
Jill
Oh Tacy. I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through. That is so hard. We will most certainly pray for you that you will heal quickly and that it won’t be long when you can eat normally again. You guys (our readers and viewers) mean so much to us and especially those of you who have been with us so long. Once again thank you for letting us know about your surgery and Dear Heavenly Father I am praying right now for Tacy that you will comfort her, give her strength and heal her. We are so grateful that we have a God we can go to and cling to in times like this and that you love us so much – more than we can ever imagine. You are like a mother who lovingly holds her hurting child and comforts her. Thank you that you have given us other Christians who can lift us up and pray for each other in times when we are to tired and weak to do it ourselves. Thank you so much in Jesus’s sweet and precious name. Amen
Be sure to pop in when you are feeling better and let us know how you are doing. Love, Jill
