Joan
Hi Tawra. I don’t have instant white chocolate pudding on hand. Are there other alternatives? What about gelatin?
Jill
Joan you don’t need to use white chocolate pudding you can use chocolate pudding, vanilla pudding, etc. also I will put in a very easy recipe to make your own pudding from scratch if you don’t have any on hand. Gelatin would not really work because this is more of a creamy type of dessert and you won’t get the same texture or taste from it. Best Homemade Pudding
Also if you make the pudding from scratch then be sure to leave out the milk in the Easter Egg Pie recipe.
sandra
I want to try this, but what kind of chocolate eggs are used in this? I love your website and recipes!
Jill
Thank you Sandra. You can use any kind of the small chocolate Easter eggs they sell at Easter in the bags.
Cindi
Looks delicious! Are the chocolate eggs used the small foil wrapped ones in a bag…like Hershey?
Jill
Yes you can use those Cindi or really any type of cut or crushed up and sprinkled on it. Other times of the year you can use chocolate chips too.
