Crunchy Veggie Salad Recipe
2-3 cups broccoli
2-3 cups cauliflower
1 cup (4 oz.) grated cheddar cheese
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup raisins
Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Mix all ingredients and pour the dressing over the salad. Toss and refrigerate 1 hour.
Just before serving, add:
3 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
Serves 4-6.

I love how economical this recipe was without sacrificing flavor. The vinaigrette was tangy and delicious and so few ingredients. Dining On A Dime is my absolute favorite cookbook of all time.
