Crockpot Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

Units

6 large bell peppers
1/2 pound ground beef (cooked or uncooked – leftover works great)
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 cup rice, cooked (any kind of rice will work)
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup water
shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, onion, diced tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cut off the top of each pepper and scrape out the seeds and membranes.
  3. Stuff each bell pepper with the ground beef mixture.
  4. Pour water on the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours, until the peppers are tender and the ground beef is cooked through.
  6. About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the cheese over the top and let it melt.
