This is the best deviled eggs recipe ever! It’s my go to recipe when I want perfect deviled eggs! It’s so easy and these deviled eggs are gone every time! This recipe can be found in volume 1 of our Dining On A Dime Cookbook.
There is one thing that I do that I didn’t put in the recipe in the book that makes my deviled eggs extra special and tasty! Are you ready for the secret ingredient??? Are you sure??? It’s… Bacon Grease!!! You read that right! I add about 1 Tbsp. of bacon grease in with the mayo and it adds the extra flavor you need to make these the BEST deviled eggs ever! You can sprinkle bacon on top, too, for extra color.
The BEST EVER Deviled Eggs Recipe!
Ingredients
6 hard boiled eggs
1 tsp. vinegar (optional)
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. bacon grease (optional)
Paprika
Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Shell the hard boiled eggs.
- Cut each one in half.
- Remove yolks and mash.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Mix until smooth.
- Heap into egg white halves.
- Sprinkle with paprika or chopped parsley.
Notes
You can sprinkle bits of bacon on top along with the parsley for extra color if you like!

I live in the deep south and we love our deviled eggs! lol! I also use a little bit of bacon grease in my deviled eggs too! yummy! I also at times sprinkle a little bacon bits on top or when I have just a little bit of ham left over I often chop it up fine and sprinkle on top. great way to use up those little extras.
