1 stick butter 1 cup light corn syrup 1 cup sugar 3 large eggs 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. vanilla dash of salt 1 1/4 cups pecans, chopped 1 (8–9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions
Brown butter in a pan until golden brown. Do not burn. Cool.
Preheat oven to 425°.
In a separate bowl add other ingredients in the order given.
Mix well.
Add cooled butter and blend well.
Pour into pie crust.
Bake 10 minutes at 425°.
Then turn down oven to 325° and continue baking 40 minutes at 325°. Makes one pie.
