Super Easy Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup cocoa
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 cups milk
4 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
1 9-inch, baked pie crust
whipped topping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, cocoa and butter.
  2. Blend milk and eggs yolks.
  3. Add to the cornstarch mixture.
  4. Cook over medium heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  5. Boil 1 minute.
  6. Add vanilla.
  7. Pour into baked pie crust. Chill.
  8. Top with whipped topping. Makes one pie.
