Thanks, Jackie! Tonya W. sent in this same peach cobbler recipe but she uses butter pecan cake mix instead of yellow cake. Thank you, ladies. These both sound so good and easy.

Nice recipe really tasty I Love this Thank you for admin for sharing

Today I made both the drinks. They will not last long. YUM! I did have to sub a nectarine for one of the peaches because I used all I had. A definite crowd pleaser for a BBQ. Personally, I’d skip the soda and juice boxes and just make large containers of both of these.

Hi Jill &/or Tawra, I really don’t bake much at all, so please excuse my baking ignorance…..for Great Grandma’s 1950’s Peach Cobbler Recipe, could I do a simple swap with sliced apples on a day that I do not have peaches —would that be fine? Thanks! Actually, while we’re at it, what about strawberries? That sounds scrumptious! I enjoy you ladies, the channel is plenty nice, but I mostly enjoy you. I’ve unfortunately found in churches, the ladies can be so catty, so even y’all as my pretend friends is wonderful. BUT, BUT –I do not pretend pray for you, that’s for real. Keep strong in the Lord ladies, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! -much love from NJ ~Mary & fam
Jill
Yes Mary you can use apples for this and most other fruits and berries like blackberries, blueberries too. The only thing, I have not tried strawberries and am not sure about them because they might become really mushy but not sure on that. You might try a half of batch and see what happens.
Thank you for those kind words. We appreciate them so much. I chuckled at the “pretend” friends but not the pretend prayers. LOL One thing, you guys truly do seem like real friends to us. You all feel like a dear pen pal that we have talked to through letters for years and have gotten to know and love. I know I say this all the time but I really seriously mean it and that is I can’t wait until we can meet you guys it Heaven. It will be so much fun being together, getting to see each other face to face and do fun things together or just chatting. : ) Your prayers and encouragement really truly mean a lot to us. Not sure if we could do what we do without them. You guys are really a big part and help of what we do. Many of our viewers I think with be surprised at how many people come up to them in Heaven and say thank you for those prayers because they helped bring them to the Lord. Thanks again sooooo much.
Mary
Jill
Oh, I like the real friends part. Also, I never thought about my prayers for y’all going beyond you. That’s pretty awesome to consider. Have a wonderful night! ~Mary
Donna
On Grandmas peach Cobbler recipe How big of a can of peaches? also it showed in video save juice and add water. How much water? Thanks you
Jill
Donna a large can of peaches (about 29-32 oz) and you can really adjust the amount of peaches to what ever you have on hand. If you are using canned peaches save the juice and pour all of it over top. Don’t use water. If you are using fresh peaches then you use the 1/2 cup of water to pour over it.
