This Millionaire Pie recipe is from the 1950’s and has been a HUGE hit for years!! Once you make this, you will never turn back to a plain pie!
To say this pie is divine is an understatement! When you bring it to a church or a family get together you will be asked to bring it back EVERY time! My grandmother used to make this all the time and it was ALWAYS the first dessert gone!
Easy No Bake Millionaire Pie
Here are a couple of tips for making this millionaire pie recipe:
- Make sure you use actual Cool Whip and not just whipped cream. The pie won’t set up as well with whipped cream.
- Be sure to use the lemon juice. It’s what sets the pie and there really isn’t any other substitute for it.
- If you don’t like coconut. you can use marshmallows.
- You don’t have to garnish the top with extra whipped cream, cherries and nuts but it does make a pretty presentation.
This recipe literally takes 5 minutes to make if you are using a pre-made pie crust. If you make your own graham cracker crust, you need to add about 5 more minutes. :-)

My grandmother used to make this to take to dinnners at our church when we were small. This is an easy pie to make and like you said it’s delicious! I have her faded out receipe and it’s about the same except she used strawberries that she froze in the summer because no one liked cherrys. I can also remember when someone had a baby or was sick this was the pie she made.
