This easy 2 ingredient homemade pizza dough recipe in an easy way to make tasty pizza crusts without spending too much time money or time in the kitchen!
This 2 ingredient pizza dough recipe is super simple for a really fast dinner! Some nights when I’m too sick to cook I will whip up something like this 2 ingredient pizza dough to have dinner but home but still have it be easy. I love it because you can divide the dough and each kid can make their own “personal” pizza.
2 Ingredient Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 – 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour*
extra flour for dusting the board
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a bowl, combine the flour and yogurt and bring together to form a ball. Add enough flour so your dough is tacky but doesn’t stick to your hands.
Turn out onto a floured board to knead and roll. Flour the counter with a little more of the flour and knead the dough until smooth, about 5-8 minutes. You may need up to an extra 1/2 cup of flour.
Roll into a pizza shape and bake for 5 minutes. Add toppings and bake an additional 10-12 minutes.
Makes 2 medium pizza crusts or one extra large pizza crust.
*If you do not have self-rising flour, you can add the following to your flour (or use our recipe here) :
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
Mix the above ingredients together with your flour and use as directed in the recipe.
Notes:
- This pizza dough is very crumbly at first but don’t be scared. One you start kneading it, it will come together. The more you knead it, the better it comes together and will be a soft dough.
- Pre-baking the crust helps prevent it from getting mushy from the pizza sauce.
- If you like, you could add some crushed garlic or spices like basil, thyme and oregano to the pizza dough.

Hello from Virginia!
Question…have you used Gluten Free flour for the pizza crust?
Thank you! ??
Jill
I think Tawra has used gluten free before but like many things that gluten free is used in it is never quite the same as the original recipe.

Can the dough be frozen? I know most can, but I don’t know about the yogurt aspect of this dough.
Jill
Yes it can.
