Many don’t realize that Dining on a Dime is more then just a cook book. Here are just a few recipes from Dining on a Dime.
Herbal Foot Bath
Use any of the following dried herbs*:
lavender
rosemary
sage
Mix herbs and place in a small cheesecloth. Fill a bucket full with warm water for your feet and add herbs. Soak away all the pains of the day! Make several at a time and keep on hand after a long day.
*A few drops of scented oil may be used instead.
For aching feet, make yourself an Herbal Foot Bath or rub a peppermint lotion or salve on your feet. Wrap a warm towel around your feet and enjoy.
After Bath Splash
1/2 cup vodka
1/2 tsp. essential oil, fragrance oil or perfume
1 Tbsp. glycerin (optional)
Combine ingredients. Shake well before using.
Lotion Bar
1/2 cup beeswax1 cup of your favorite oil
(palm, olive, almond, jojoba, or coconut)
Melt ingredients together in a pan on medium heat. Pour into bar molds (or what ever shape you want to make). When cool, remove from molds. Rub over body as needed.
