2 cups brown sugar, packed 1 cup white corn syrup 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk 1/2 cup butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup nuts melted chocolate (optional)
Instructions
Combine sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, butter and salt in a saucepan.
Heat gradually to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil until golden brown, about 7-10 minutes (240 degrees).
