Ask Tawra and Jill

Kim From Texas asks: "How do you find meat for under $2 a pound? Ground beef in my stores is $2.47 per lb. and up!"

Tawra: "I just wait for it to go on sale. We have been eating a LOT of chicken lately because it was on sale for $1.34/lb but haven't had hamburger for several months because it's almost $3. I found some in Colorado for $1 and so I stocked up and put it in my grandmother's freezer. They are coming out next month and will bring it to us, all 40 lbs! I never thought I would see the day when hamburger would be a treat!"

"Pretty much that's all. I just wait for a sale and then stock up when I can. Tawra"
